RepentenceI have supplemented your throne
with girls, games, and music,
and still you are not angry.
I have forsaken your commands
with a heart of malice,
and still you are patient.
I curse you for not leaving me alone
so I can fulfill my carnal desires,
and still you stay by me.
Like a father you know what's best
for me so I don't suffer,
and still I choose to be a fool.
Only when I finally fall beaten and still,
when I am laying in the cool silence,
I remember you are God above all.
Paradise Prison-Day 347
Assuming that my count isn't off, I'm just about two weeks shy of a year since I randomly came to live in the strange land called Equestria. I guess I've acclimated to the insanely cartoonish world but every so often I remember that half the world looks like the edible room of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory; the one Gene Wilder played in, the one with Johnny Dep sucked.
Today started off different than usual. Instead of Fluttershy's mother frickin chickens waking me up before dawn, it was actually Twilight Sparkle trying to buck down my door. That girl is probably the biggest dork I've ever meet, human or pony. She's so determined to take me to Canterlot to see Princess Celestia raise the sun on the summer solstice. Have I ever written that before? Yeah, in this cracked out on sugar world I'm in, the sun is magically raised and lowered by a winged un
The Last Good Morning The air around Daniel is dry and stiff. The air inside Daniel is burning, and turbulent. He desperately needs to get out of the building. This makeshift home that shouldn't be fit to house the wild dogs, is the only building left intact enough to provide shelter in this bombed out purgatory. The walls closed in and he had to get out. He unlocks the many latches that protect him from the outside jungle of fallen buildings and burned streets. Five months later and the smell of the fire bombs are still strong in the air.
He tightens his boots and stretches just enough to convince himself that he actually did. He begins to run pushing out his anger with each hot breath. He is like powerful locomotive on a crash course with a cliff side; he couldn't stop if he wanted to and he just wants to go out with a bang. He puts his hatred in e
Singing with Strawberries It's interesting how you much you long for solitude until you get it. It's like Pandora's Box; a beautifully cruel trick. "Mom's in Georgia till Saturday and Jordan's got classes then he's working a 24." I sit in mom's recliner. "I'm the king of the castle for two whole days," smirking, "I can do whatever I want".
I walk to the foyer, and pause. "If no one else is going to be home, than can walk around naked " I strip on the spot. The feeling is very underwhelming. I go to the kitchen and microwave a frozen burrito for 99 seconds. The first bite burns worse than the devil's hemorrhoids. I spits its machine processed 'beef and been' fill as I throw it to the counter. "Okay," I shout with a burning tongue, "let's get some clothes so that doesn't happen somewhere else!"
I retrieve my clothes
Sun and MoonWhat happened to give and take,
ebb and flow, yin and yang?
What happened to balance, to equality?
What happened to love and tolerance?
Why does no one believe in the
divine united biarchy anymore?
Why must a "New Lunar Republic" rise,
and why must the "Solar Empire" fall?
Why did men hate the solar elder
when she punished her sister for evil?
Why do men love the lunar younger
when she tried to destroy us all?
Was the beauty of one so great
that it pardoned her crime?
Was the sternness of the other
so horrific to deserve our scorn?
Why is it that we are the ones
that are keeping them at odds?
They have made amends!
Why will we not do the same?
